Algae: primitive chlorophyll-containing mainly aquatic eukaryotic organisms lacking true stems and roots and leaves

 

Geomorphic: of surface features of planet: relating to the surface features of the Earth or another planet.

 

Lacustrine: of or relating to or living near lakes

Mesic: of, pertaining to, or adapted to an environment having a balanced supply of moisture.

 

Nitrogen: a common nonmetallic element that is normally a colorless odorless tasteless inert diatomic gas; constitutes 78 percent of the atmosphere by volume; a constituent of all living tissues

 

Phosphorus: a nonmetallic element of the nitrogen family that occurs commonly in inorganic phosphate rocks and as organic phosphates in all living cells; is highly reactive and occurs in several allotropic forms
